Cargo Line International’s corporate commitment is defined by its focus upon its customers, employees and the community in general.
Safety is paramount and our impressive safety record is testiment to both mangement and staff commitment to working practices.
Each year Cargo Line International budgets increasingly to provide both local and international charities donations and employee time to assist their causes. The intrinsic rewards from these efforts continue to foster ever greater commitments from Cargo Line International and its employees and is a focus that aligns symbiotically with our mission statement.
Charities & Fundraisers
In August a group of keen and eager men will be heading to Vanuatu to undertake a project which will see the construction of 2 classrooms at Mataloi village in the northern centre of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu.
Currently the children who attend school at Mataloi come from 20 surrounding villages. These children walk to school each day and for some children who live further away, they will walk for up to eight hours to get to school, stay in the village during the week and then return home on Friday afternoon. These classrooms will provide the opportunity for additional children to attend school, and replace an existing classroom that is falling down.
Our previous missions to Vanuatu have provided much needed infrastructure to people in villages who struggle for basic necessities. This mission is undertaken every two years and previously has seen the following projects completed:
- Build 4 classrooms at Ban Ban School.
- Connect a water supply for Mataloi village and install 2 x 1000 litre tanks at a small village and bible college.
- Extend Camp Shining light main dining room to accommodate new kitchen.
- A 200m2 Learning Centre for Children with a Disability
Sydney Children's Hospital
Cargo Line teams up with some of its customers to donate items to the Sydney Childrens Hospital every year.
